Verifone UX100 Unattended PIN Pad | 2.4" Display, IP65 Outdoor Keypad

The Verifone UX100 is the PIN pad and customer display of Verifone's UX unattended payment family. It mounts flush in the panel of a kiosk, fuel pump, parking pay station, EV charger or vending machine and gives customers a weatherproof keypad for PIN entry and on-screen prompts.

How the UX100 fits a Verifone UX setup

The UX series is modular. The UX100 does not read cards on its own. It plugs into the Verifone UX300 card reader, which reads chip and magstripe cards and runs the payment application, with a single USB cable that carries both power and data. Add the UX400 contactless reader to accept tap-to-pay cards and mobile wallets. A complete card-present unattended setup is UX300 + UX100 + UX400, each mounted in the machine's panel.

• Weather and vandal resistant: metal front plate, IP65 dust and water protection and IK09 impact rating (up to 10 joules).
• Wide temperature range: operates from -20 to 70 C (-4 to 158 F).
• Simple install: one USB Type-B connection to the UX300; mounts with four screws into an 83 x 121 mm panel cutout with only 5 mm front projection.
• Secure PIN entry: PCI PTS 5.x approved (approval 4-20352, approval expires 30 Apr 2027), tamper resistant, with an optional anti-removal switch kit.

Can the Verifone UX100 take card payments on its own?

No. The UX100 is the PIN pad and display. Cards are read by the UX300 (chip and magstripe) and, for tap payments, the UX400 paired with the UX300.

What does the UX100 connect to?

It connects to the Verifone UX300 card reader with a single USB cable (USB Type-B on the UX100). The UX300 supplies its power.

Is the UX100 rated for outdoor use?

Yes. It has a metal front plate, IP65 dust and liquid protection, an IK09 impact rating and an operating range of -20 to 70 C.

What is the difference between the UX100 and UX110?

The UX100 has a 2.4-inch display. The UX110 is keypad only, with no screen.
