Allstar Terminals: 1-year warranty on new terminals and how to claim it

New terminals bought from Allstar Terminals carry a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. To claim, contact Allstar with the order number, model, serial number and a description of the fault. Defective SUNMI products go through SUNMI's manufacturer warranty.

Check first

  • When was the device delivered? Is it within 1 year of delivery?
  • Was it bought new from Allstar, or is it refurbished?
  • Is it a SUNMI product?
  • What exactly is failing, and is there a message on screen?
  • Was the device dropped, exposed to liquid, or opened?

This guide explains the warranty on terminals bought from Allstar Terminals and how to make a claim.

Before you start

  • Find the order or invoice number, the model and the serial number (usually on the label on the back or underside of the device).
  • Note the exact fault and any message on screen.

Steps

  1. Check the device is within the warranty period: 1 year from delivery for new terminals bought from Allstar. Expected: You know whether the device is inside the 1-year window.
  2. If the fault appeared within 3 days of delivery, treat it as a damaged or defective arrival: email support@allstarterminals.com within those 3 days and Allstar sends a replacement ahead of the return. Expected: A replacement is on its way and you receive return instructions for the faulty unit.
  3. For faults after the first 3 days, contact Allstar at support@allstarterminals.com or 888-403-7066 with the order number, model, serial number, payment application, processor and the exact message or behaviour. Expected: Allstar opens a warranty claim and tells you the next step.
  4. Follow the instructions Allstar sends. Do not ship the device back before you have them. Expected: The claim is processed and you receive the outcome.

If that did not work

SUNMI products: the claim goes through SUNMI's manufacturer warranty; Allstar support can point you to the route. For any other brand, call 888-403-7066 during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST).

Notes

  • The live FAQ page at /pages/faq renders no visible text (read 2026-10-23); the warranty answer exists only in the page's FAQ structured data (JSON-LD). The visible statement is on /pages/replacement-terminals. VERIFY-BY owner that the FAQ page body is meant to be empty.
  • Whether refurbished terminals carry the same 1-year warranty is not stated on a live page or by the owner: ask us.
  • What the warranty excludes (physical damage, liquid, misuse, consumables such as batteries and paper) is not stated: ask us.
  • Whether a warranty replacement ships before the faulty unit is returned (after the first 3 days) is not stated; the owner's rule is that replacement-ahead-of-return applies only to items reported within 3 days of delivery (2026-10-11).
  • Whether the warranty is Allstar's own or passes through the manufacturer's warranty for non-SUNMI brands is not stated: ask us.
