Check first
- Did your sales representative or provider create your Valor account?
- Can you find the Valor activation email (check spam)?
- Are you signing in on the web portal or in the ValorPay mobile app?
To log in to Valor PayTech, open the activation email Valor sent when your account was created, set your password, then sign in at online.valorpaytech.com. In the ValorPay phone app you sign in with your username and a one-time passcode sent to the mobile number on file.
Before you start
- Your Valor login is created by your sales representative or ISO, not by you. Without that account there is nothing to activate.
- Have access to the email inbox and mobile phone on file.
Steps
- Find the Valor activation email (check spam and junk folders). Expected: it contains an activation link.
- Open the link and create your password. Expected: Valor confirms the password.
- Go to https://online.valorpaytech.com and sign in. Expected: your merchant account opens.
- For the app: install ValorPay from Google Play or the App Store, enter your username and tap Login with OTP. Expected: a one-time passcode arrives on the phone number on file.
- Enter the passcode, then create and confirm a 6-digit app passcode. Expected: you are signed in to ValorPay.
If that did not work
- No activation email: ask your sales representative or provider to resend it. In Valor's portal they do this from User Management with Resend Activation.
- Passcode goes to an old phone number: your provider needs to update the number on file.
Contact the company that set up your Valor account for login access. For terminal problems, contact Allstar support with the model, serial number, payment application, processor and the exact message on screen.

Stop and contact support if
- No activation email, or the link has expired: do not create a new account. Ask your sales representative or provider to resend the activation from Valor's User Management.
- The one-time passcode goes to a phone number you no longer have: contact your provider to update the number on file.
- Never share your password or one-time passcode with anyone who calls or emails you asking for it.
Contact the company that set up your Valor merchant account to resend the activation or update your contact details. For terminal problems, contact Allstar support with the model, serial number, payment application, processor and the exact message on screen.
Notes
- Valor's knowledge base does not describe a self-service password reset; it was not verified here.
- What you see in the portal depends on the permissions your ISO set for your user.
- Allstar does not create Valor portal accounts; the account comes from whoever boarded the merchant.
