SUNMI terminals: where a defective unit goes (manufacturer warranty)
SUNMI products are final sale at Allstar Terminals; a defective SUNMI unit is handled through SUNMI's own manufacturer warranty, and this guide shows how to start that claim.
- Applies to
- SUNMI P2, P2 Mini, P2 Pro, P2 SE, V2s, V2 Pro, T2, T2s

Check first
- Is the product a SUNMI device (P2, P2 Mini, V2s, T2 and similar)?
- Was it reported as damaged, defective or wrong within 3 days of delivery?
- Do you have the serial number?
SUNMI products sold by Allstar Terminals are final sale under the manufacturer's policy. A defective SUNMI terminal is repaired or replaced through SUNMI's own warranty, not returned to Allstar. This short guide shows how to start that claim.
Before you start
- Have the device serial number (on the label) and the purchase date.
- The Allstar 25% restocking-fee return for injected or programmed devices does not apply to SUNMI; SUNMI stays non-returnable even when programmed.
Steps
- Confirm the device is a SUNMI product. Expected: the SUNMI manufacturer-warranty path applies, not an Allstar return.
- Check the unit's warranty status by serial number on SUNMI's Warranty Inquiry page. Expected: SUNMI reports whether the unit is in warranty.
- Open a repair or replacement request through SUNMI Care (repair request form, after-sales portal, 24/7 chat, hotline, or sunmi-service@sunmi.com). Expected: SUNMI issues a case and tells you where to send the unit.
- If the unit arrived damaged, defective or wrong within 3 days of delivery, also notify Allstar support so the delivery issue is on record. Expected: Allstar logs it; SUNMI handles the repair.
If that did not work
If SUNMI cannot find the serial number or the unit shows out of warranty unexpectedly, contact Allstar support with the order number and serial number so we can confirm the purchase details.

Stop and contact support if
- Customer requests a refund or exchange through Allstar for a SUNMI unit: explain the manufacturer-warranty path; do not promise a refund.
Contact Allstar support with the model, serial number, purchase date and a description of the fault. Allstar can confirm the order details; the repair itself is handled by SUNMI.
Notes
- SUNMI Care advertises up to 3 years of standard warranty; the warranty period for a specific unit must be checked by serial number on SUNMI's Warranty Inquiry page. The SUNMI Warranty Policy page text could not be read in full.
- The 3-day reporting window for damaged, defective or wrong items is Allstar's replacement rule (authority file, 2026-10-11). For SUNMI units it records the delivery issue; it does not create a return.
