Allstar Terminals now carries the ID TECH lineup. We partnered with ID TECH, the Cypress, California payments hardware manufacturer, in September 2026, and every ID TECH card reader in our catalog is sourced directly from their distribution team. That covers the VP3350 mobile reader, the VP8300 countertop reader, a full unattended family for kiosks and vending, three barcode scanners, and the cables and dongles that tie a deployment together.

Why ID TECH
ID TECH has designed and built payment readers since 1985. Its devices run inside kiosks, vending machines, parking systems, EV chargers, transit gates and mobile apps, often behind someone else's brand. That OEM focus shows in the hardware: small footprints that fit inside existing enclosures, multiple interface options on the same model, and security that holds up when no cashier is standing next to the reader.
Three things stand out across the current lineup:
- Current security certification. The payment readers we stock are PCI PTS 6.x, with SRED builds, DUKPT key management and remote key injection support.
- Every modern way to pay. EMV chip, contactless cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay, plus Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap for loyalty on most models.
- Built for unattended sites. The outdoor models are sealed to IP65 and rated IK07 or IK08, with operating ranges that reach −30 °C.
Mobile and countertop ID TECH card readers
These two readers add chip, tap and swipe acceptance to a phone, tablet or POS. They are the natural fit for software companies adding card-present payments to an app, and for merchants who already have a POS and need a secure reader beside it.
Pick the VP3350 when the sale moves: field service, food trucks, pop-ups and line-busting. Pick the VP8300 when the register stays put and you want 3-in-1 acceptance without the cost of a full PIN pad terminal. The VP3350 stand and matching USB-C cable are in stock alongside it.
Unattended ID TECH readers for kiosks and vending

Retrofitting machines?
The VP7225 connects to existing equipment through the Pulse dongle or the Pulse + Wi-Fi dongle, so operators can add card acceptance to laundry, arcade and vending machines without replacing them.
Unattended terminals with chip and PIN
When a site needs chip insert, magstripe and PIN entry as well as tap, step up to ID TECH's full unattended terminals. Both host payment applications on the device and use PIN on glass.
Choose the VP6825 for the widest connectivity, Wi-Fi and optional LTE included, plus optional MDB. Choose the VP6800 when the brightest display matters most or when you want to buy only the connectivity and camera a site needs.
ID TECH barcode scanners
Three scanners round out a deployment. The EconoScan III is a plug-and-play USB 1D scanner for counters and back offices. The ValueScan III adds a 12-inch range and auto-sense mode for hands-free scanning in a stand. The 2D Scan FX200 is a fixed-mount 2D imager that tucks inside kiosks and parking gates to read QR codes and mobile tickets from a phone screen.
