The ID TECH VP3350 is a premium 3-in-1 mobile card reader that turns a phone, tablet or POS app into a complete payment acceptance point. It reads EMV chip, NFC contactless and magnetic stripe cards in one pocket-sized device (67 x 71 x 13.5 mm), and accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.

Which VP3350 interface should I choose?
Bluetooth for wireless pairing with iOS or Android phones and tablets; Lightning for older iPhones; USB-C male to plug straight into newer iPhones, iPads and Android devices; USB-C female for a cabled connection to a POS terminal or PC.

What is the difference between SRED and non-SRED?
SRED (Secure Reading and Exchange of Data) units encrypt card data inside the reader and are what most processors require for production. Non-SRED units suit integrations that handle encryption elsewhere. Not sure which you need? Leave Encryption on “Blank” when you order and we will confirm with your processor.

Does the VP3350 work with Apple Pay?
Yes. It accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay, and supports Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap for loyalty passes.
