The PAX IM25 is a contactless-only Android unattended payment terminal engineered for fixed self-service installations. Running PayDroid (Android 10) on a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, it accepts NFC contactless EMV cards, mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, and QR code payments, with PIN-on-Glass entry directly on the 3.5-inch anti-glare touchscreen. Its compact, ruggedized form factor makes it a strong fit for ISOs, merchant services providers, and processors deploying acceptance into vending machines, EV charging stations, parking, public transport and ticketing, petrol/fuel stations, and self-service retail kiosks.
Built for the field, the IM25 is IP65 dust- and water-rated and IK09 vandal/impact-rated for both indoor and outdoor use, and operates across a wide -20C to 70C temperature range. It is externally powered (7-48 VDC) with no internal battery, and integrates with host machines via MDB (or JVMA) plus dual SAM slots for vending and transit deployments. Flexible connectivity, contactless certifications, and PCI PTS 6.x with SRED security make it a reliable building block for unattended payment programs at scale.
